The P2135, clean TB and idle relearn and replace the TP cover are all for the 07 new body trucks. Not to say the 03-07 can't have some of the same issues but they typically are just reduced engine power and P1516s and 1-2 correlation codes. The ultimate fix would be a throttle cable retrofit. I've yet to have my throttle cable set codes or go into reduced power mode. Damn those unreliable throttle cables.

Haha thanks guys. I cleared the code with my scangauge and going to clean up the throttle body. Justin at Blackbear caught a fuel pressure issue on my data logging so going with a new fuel pump, but doubt that is related. I'll keep an eye out and see if it clears up. Thanks again.

I'm getting this p1516 now constantly, I know this is an old thread but I've tried everything, new TB, pigtail, grounds cleaned up, dealership reprogram(they said it was fine and 10 miles down the road REP again). I notice you mentioned here you made new harness going from the TAC to the TPS, do you have a writeup on this? I'd like to try, thanks!

I just changed every wire color for color, but in the end I didnt need to. It was tune related, and a condition from the throttle body. What is everything done to your truck? The most common problem are the brown or yellow wires breaking under the sheathing.

doesn't matter which TB I have the stock or the aftermarket(cardone?). I went color for color and replaced every wire from the TAC to the TB and still happening. so far new TB, pedal sensor, pigtail(and now harness), cleaned/ upgraded grounds, upgrade firmware still REP P1516 several times during a trip. when its warm it runs like a champ, when its cold REP 10 times in a 10 mile stretch.

forgot to mention she is bone stock. I read someone said get an HP tuner and disable DTC's, but I'd hate to ruin my truck. issue started in about October and has been a pain since with no relief. wanna get it fixed so the Mrs cant keep talking about how great her expedition is.

well, did something the code does NOT say... change the plugs. my FIL(old time GM lover and mechanic), asked the mrs what was wrong with my truck.... she tells him and he says do the plugs, sometimes that can be the culprit and no one ever checks that. here I am day two and even just drove her right now(-1 truck said). usually when its cold out BOOM - REP two doors down, today ... nada. /fingers crossed
