Default P1514 Code

Threw the code tonight. Put me in Reduced Engine Power Mode. I found the table that controls the code and plan on upping it. Question is what are the values in the table. grams per cylinder?

What dang tables does the PCM resort to when in REP mode? Mine goes so lean it won't run. I want to fix them.

Thanks for the link. I just upped the entire table by 25%. Funny thing is I did the math and at the last point before REP I hadn't reached the 1514 limit for RPM I was at.

dunno....

I've found REP mode enough over the truck build that I seldom travel without the laptop. I'd feel more comfortable doing so if the dang thing would run when I get one. As long as I stayed on the throttle it ran for a while but as soon as I stopped the timing fell out the floor and it wouldn't run.

The native units for the PCM are in mg per cylinder. In REP, throttle should be limited to about 17%, so if you're lean, that's just that particular area of the VE table...

Looking at the log. The areas of VE were close. Its some kind of timing adder/subtract that killed it. Steady state 18% TPS then the timing started falling to - numbers. Came back up AFR went good then started falling again. Death shortly afterward I've been looking but can't make sense of it.

I really doubt it. Most Hand Helds don't get into detail like tuning software does. There's usually just preset perameters and yes or no questions.
