well ever since i put on the stock maf with screen and tuned it i've been getting this code, i've checked all connections, wires, ect. it comes on everytime i drive my truck. After i delete it, it will come back on within a day or less. could this be do to since im running the meth inj, do you guys think by some washerfluid goes down the intake into the maf and gets on it, and the pcm reads the maf is dirty on something

 

does it jump to extremely rich right when it throws the code? a friend's Z06 did this when he installed a 383ci, just had to adjust the parameters for p0101 in the tune. what are you tuning with?

 

so maybe this has something to do with the tune then, if it keeps setting it off. cuz i was sd tune before never had that problem of course, now back to stock maf and now this

 

i also did a cam install with springs would this have anything to do with it.

 

what should i check for on the log when i go with my tuner so we can fix this

 

does this have anything with the tranny feeling like it bogg like a bish

 

do you have a wideband o2? if the motor is bogging and suddenly you see a little black smoke puff like it's PIG rich, it's probably the same thing.... the MAF is telling the motor that it's getting more air than it is and in turn the o2 sensors are telling it that it's fine so it goes in to a self protection mode of sorts and starts dumping fuel, with the theory of better rich than lean.

so again I ask:
what are you tuning with?

are you running a wide band 02 sensor? if so does it go rich as soon as it throws the code?

and no, the tranny won't bog, but if it's goes into this "rich" mode then it will bog the hell out of the motor.

 

Mine just started doing this too, I think it's just dirty cuz I checked the tune and everything looks spot on.

 

it still doing the same thing, it pings with this code, and when i take off from a stop and give it some gas it hasitates then it goes.
