Default Overwrite a Black Bear Tune?

Can I or a capable shop, overwrite my current Black Bear tune done by Justin? 2000 5.3 Silverado.

I expect so. They never did lock the ECM or even the tune itself, so you should be able to change it however you like.

Uh, umm, a slight pause here should be considered. Why not save yourself a file copy of the Black Bear tune to disk? Think of this as an insurance policy in case your next tune goes a little nutty. If your next tune works out OK, make a backup copy of that, too.

Is this your daily driver? If yes, I'd suggest getting a spare PCM as another form of insurance.

Be methodical and deliberate here.
