Default Opinions on EFI Live vs Hptuners?

I have heard good things about both. But what is best for our trucks and an individuals needs?
My set up is below in my sig.
Allen Nelson is using Hp Tuners and said would help me get going if I bought it.
I also met a guy at the local car show last weekend that has EFI Live and would tune my truck as well. He has a "71" Chevelle with twin turbos on it He is Nitrorocket on this site and LS1 TECH, So I think he'd be a good candidate to help me out if I bought EFI.
Your thoughts gentlemen???

I like EFILive for AutoTune. If your running a fairly hefty cam or anything other than stock for that matter. It makes it a BREEZE to tune. If you have a wideband your flat good to go.

I too am on the fence. It seems to me that they are both excellent. I'll probably choose HP because Nelson uses it and I can maybe get help from him.... being a Nelson customer and all. I don't know anyone around here that does his/her own tunes so I don't have an influence in either direction. I would/will probably choose the one where I can get the most help with the myraid of questions I know I'll have and I'd probably recommend to any new tuner to get the brand their friends have.... just so they can get first hand help.

I would just recommend trying to find someone local with hptuners & efilive so you can make a better determination. Both have their own pricing, licensing & model structures and are very unique in their own way. The only thing they really have in common is the fact that they are tuning software that both happen to tune LSX motors...after that they go their own separate ways in every other way really.

FYI...if you're looking for help getting going, Jesse at W4M is an EFI Live dealer / user. Just an EFI Live option similar to Nelson/HPT
