So I'm an idiot and just licensed a new pcm for my truck without checking it first. I found out that the mail order tune that was sent to me was set up for a manual tranny. I have an auto, so is there any way to change this in HP Tuners, or do I have to completely get the PCM reflashed and spend another 2 credits?

 

you can change to a different operating system without needing new credits if that's what you mean.

 

so changing the os will change it from a manual tranny to an auto? Where do I change the os at?

 

SHOULD,not possitive on that let me check on that. This may just be for EFI Live too.

 

I'm kinda up a creek right now, so that would be great if it would work. I am new to all this so I really don't know how to change the OS like that yet.
