Question Is this Ok update

got one these today
http://www.ngk.com/afx/#

nice gear and easy install.
here's what I see

steady speed driving about 14.5
moderate acceleration 12.5-13.5
wot 12.05 with a flicker to 11.9 at shift

wot seems alittle lean but not much.
is that enough to be concerned about?
Does the rest seem normal?

later same day...
finally got my boost gauge installed as well
Holy Chit Man
Autometer #3303 pro series
anyway, soon as I go from vacumn to boost goes right to 5 psi
wot ..full 8 psi
this really floored me cause i fiqured with my headers and magnaflow would
knock my boost down maybe 1.5-2 psi
maybe i got a ringer for a blower but who knows.
so... I'm out on my first test drive with my boost gauge and a beautiful Viper coupe pulls up. we drive though traffic for a while and then hit an double twisty offramp to the highway. I stay on his bumper until the road opens up and he hits it and so do I , i can't beleive it , I blow by him at about 110
figuring I killed him, look across and he's yakking on a cell phone like I don't exist, oh well, i thought it was a kill but i don't think he was trying too hard

anyway, looks like my gear is working properly.
I might get Nelson to try and get my afr's down a little to get some more timing but I'm happy for now. tires are worn out though..

most guys like high 11's @ WOT, but my understanding from maggie is 12 to 12.1 is fine especially if you can monitor kr and aren't getting any. You are running the stock pulley too right? Nelson tune getting you 12:1? I'd be okay with it. ...unless I had software then I try to bring it to 11.8 .

you have boost gauge? is that moderate accel with boost?

12.05 is actually a little rich. "optimal" WOT AFR is usually around 12.9 or 13.0 or so poeple say. if you leaned it out in your tune to ~13 you could probably make some more power

With my tune (2 bar) I see stoich 14.7 at cruise. Of course it's floating between 15.x and 14.x as it should. At partial throttle my AFR is low 12's going as low as 11.3 WOT.

Not for a forced induction setup. Upper 12's is the limit, but safety is on the edge. Most every tuner recommends high 11's and I'm not afraid of low 12's with pump gas.

For the slight power gain I would not push it to high 12's. As a matter of fact I picked up 60 rwhp by richening one of mine from 12.4 to about 11.7:1. Likely due to some cooling as it was very hot in the dyno bay, but nevertheless that was on back to back runs with no other changes. The second run was richer and gained.

those are all great #'S for power and afr's

would you say the afr's are a product of the 2 bar tune
which pulley 3.4?
how is your wot timing?

Thanks! I wish i knew more about tuning, but i'm learning slowly WOT timing is 20* .
A lot of time spent on and off the dyno, going back again tomorrow for some more street tuning, partial throttle dial in.
