Default No start after mail order tune

Got my black bear tune in today, swapped the pcm/tcm over, it started, stubbled and stalled, no security light ever came on but I tried the the relearn procedure, no it just cranks no start, I don't hear the fuel pump. I swapped my stock pcm over it starts right up... Any ideas?

If doing a security relearn didn't help, then I blame the tune you got from them.

Something may not be setup right.

Does the security relearn need to be performed even if the light isn't on? I mean it says in the included says that the truck may run and then stall out but everything I look at online says that the light will be on. I am wondering if you still need to perform it without the light on but I tried x4 times and still nothing I'm wondering if I did it wrong or if something is wrong with the computer... I'm going nuts

Before I had Alvin @ PCM of NC tune my truck, I had a couple mail order tunes from Justin - never had an issue & YES, you have to do the entire re-learn sequence even if there is no security light present. Its time consuming, yes, but your truck won't run unless its done. When I had my stroker dropped in I had the adjustments made by Justin via mail order and on the first attempt I got nothing because I didn't correctly perform the re-learn.

Good luck...

It threw the codes after you did the re-learn? Very odd...

So just a update, after talking to Justin and Jarrad at blackbear, they are sending me another computer due to possible fault with this one, maybe shipping damage.

Most computers are pretty much shock proof and weather proof, think of what people do with these vehicles.

I'd guess at a tuning error on their end.

What were the specs of your tune if you don't mind me asking? Did the problem ever get resolved? Looking into black bear tunes myself.
