Default need help tuning my afr

I just tried tuning my lq9 with ls3 heads and custom 226/232 115 lsa cam. I tried tuning the ve table with no luck. My afr gauge shows 12.8-13.0 right when startup and after idling a few second is starts to go lean at 16.0ish. Tried tuning the ve table but nothing. Are there any tables i should disable or something? Or why does my afr turn lean after a few seconds. Right now i have it on the stock tune.

Please i need help!
Thanks in advance!

What is the engine temp when you are starting. It commands richer mixture when engine is cold, there are also after start enrichment tables. A lot of factors. Find the cell it settles in when it's at 16.0 at idle and add some airflow to that cell.

Post up your tune if you like, let some of us take a look at it. Have you worked your MAF table over at all?

It is the same, cold or warm start. But i will try to tweak the afterstart enrichment tables and see what that does. The tune is the stock lq9 but i can still include it to look at it if anyone wants to. And no, i have no dailed in the maf yet.

The VE table doesn't do much/anything if you're still using the MAF. So tuning it will have no effect. Regardless, in closed-loop the O2's should see that it's running lean and adjust the fuel trims to bring it back to stoich. Look at your fuel trims and O2 voltages to see what it's actually doing. Your wideband could be off.

The PCM commands a rich mixture during warm up and restarts.

I just disabled closed loop and it seems to work fine. Anyone knows what table(s) to adjust to have the closed loop working and not having the problem i mentioned in the 1st post?

You need to calculate the maf error and adjust that whole table

Which table are you talking about? Maf calibration?

Not sure what its called in HPT, but it's air flow vs. MAF frequency.
