I was thinking an inspection mirror and a flashlight and a friend to slowly turn the engine...... If you remove the starter you should have enhough room to see in the hole

Cracks hardly ever happen.
Wheel alignment if the engine has been out before.

Thanks for the tips guys. The motor was freshly rebuilt when I dropped it in back in late 2012. I have put 11k miles on the engine without any issues. Is it possible something could have happened to it without any other damage occurring. The last day it ran normally was a rainy nasty day that there was no point in getting on it hard because it didn't take much to lose traction anyway. When I took off the next morning is when symptoms started.

A little update. Drove my truck tonight. My buddy pulled a crank sensor out of a 250k 6.0 he's had under a tarp in the shed for 2 years, stuck it in mine and it fired up. After I've bought 2 Advance sensors and 1 supposedly AC Delco from Rockauto. AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!! Drove it around just long enough to pass a salt truck. Yay! But it still has little to no drive ability. When I start to accelerate, it spits and sputters and won't take the gas. My buddy had his Snap On scanner hooked up and it showed nothing out of the ordinary other than another PO336 thrown out at random as we drove around. With truck idling in park it revved freely as though everything was normal. I even brake boosted it in 4 hi while he watched the misfire screen and nothing showed. Truck will not rev over 3500 or so. Wondering about cheap *** Marshall FP gauge. Was only showing 45 psi or so. I have a new Racetronix Module and hot wire kit plus the Maggie add on pump. Hell could the PCM go nuts after 11k miles. We're scratching our heads.

Unhooked maf sensor, no change. FP gauge on the rails is only showing 45 psi at idle. Thinking there's the problem somehow. FML. Brand new Racetronix module and hot wire kit naturally. Probably junk.
