GMCtrk 11-20-2011 08:37 PM

Are you running E85?

kr1s 11-20-2011 08:45 PM

Nooo why?

2007chevy5.3l 11-20-2011 08:48 PM

Why you running it in open loop? Why are you commanding 9.xx air to fuel at WOT? Who tuned this truck?

kr1s 11-20-2011 08:51 PM

The guy who tuned this truck was the guy who did my transmission.

He said he used HP tuners to Correct my speedometer and raise my shift points, but i think he played around with some things

2007chevy5.3l 11-20-2011 08:53 PM

Dude, this tune is all kinds of jacked up.. Your commanding 12s AFR at cruise speeds where as most tuned and stock vehicles command 14.3-14.6 AFR. Your timing is horrible also. Hows the truck run lol?

kr1s 11-20-2011 08:55 PM

:( Don't tell me that lol! The truck honestly runs fine haha i have no idea how but it does, it beat my brothers tuned duramax. Should i try and find a stock 5.3 tune and go from there or should i fix this one? Keep in mind im new

From the data you have logged anything would be better. Yes, download a stock 5.3 tune and flash it in. Should run much better.. If your gonna learn tuning you need to get a wideband also

kr1s 11-20-2011 09:01 PM

Okay yeah i'm planning on getting a wideband soon, Where can i find a stock tune? Tune File Depot ?

Download the tune and check this page. Could be a misprint..

2007chevy5.3l 11-20-2011 09:21 PM

Get the other O2 fixed. Thats going to screw up air to fuel big time

There is 3 o2's right?
The drivers side 02 doesn't work
The passanger 02 towards the far back is plugged in
and the one above it doesn't fit the harness
If i get a wideband should i still go ahead and replace the sensors?

2007chevy5.3l 11-20-2011 09:26 PM

Look at a suburban/tahoe tune. Should be the same

kr1s 11-20-2011 09:28 PM

There are 4 O2's- 2 precats, 2 postcats.
The sensors before the cats are important and help control fueling.
Yes the sensors need to be working. A wideband will need to be placed before the cat, most guys put them on the drivers side right after the manifold collector

kr1s 11-20-2011 11:23 PM

How do i tune my existing Tune?
If i use my credit what happens if i wanna get a mail order tune?

Whats the first thing you're suppose to do when you first get EFI LIVE?

GMCtrk 11-20-2011 11:32 PM

You can load a different OS, it is just a full reflash.

kr1s 11-20-2011 11:33 PM

And the full re flash is 1 credit right?

How do i just tune my current file?

GMCtrk 11-20-2011 11:34 PM

No. No credits.

If its the same PCM you can flash it as many times as you want, change OS, whatever.

kr1s 11-20-2011 11:46 PM

So when does the Credit come in?

GMCtrk 11-20-2011 11:47 PM

1 credit per PCM.

My EFI live came with 2 credits.
