Hey i get free 87 oct gas. Can i mix it like 60% 94 and 40% 87 and prevent pinging with a 91 + octane tune? Thanks!

 

That's all the fuel pumps at any gas station in this province does so go nuts. One premium tank, one regular and that's it. Same goes for the fuel blenders, premium or regular. It's just that Husky and or Petro Can add ethanol to the 91 octane base stock to get 94 for premium unlike Shell/Esso and so on.

You just need to get a better deal and get the good old ethanol plentiful 94 for free.
