Someone tell me were the map is on a 99 with a 5.3? also is there anyway to test if its working right without a scan tool.

It's on the top of the intake manifold near the back. Not sure how you could test it without being able to see it's reading.

Is the MAP what controls fuel enrichment when the truck is cold?
