Default Maf code with new and old maf

I was wondering if someone can tell me if any of the maf wires are shared with anything else. Before my tune I had maf code after my tune I have maf codes. Installed new maf and have the same code that comes and goes. Can I just replace the wires from the maf to the ecm? Think it's code p0101

P0101 does not mean you have a bad MAF. It is a predicted air flow code. It's something your tuner should have taken care of.

That's was my first thoughts but it did it when I first got the truck. It was tuned then. Then I put a different motor in. Had it tuned again. Only got 100 miles on that tune and trans took a dump. It never set the code with that motor. Put in stock motor and have put 6-700 miles on it with cammed tune and it sets it on and off. Ordered almost identical cam and should install it this week and hopefully get tune touched up soon. Guess I will hold off on replacing the wires. Thanks.

You can check for power, ground, and a signal to confirm the wiring is good.

Do you have access to a scanner to show MAF hertz and airflow at idle?

I will have to hook my crappy scanner up and see if it reads that. I can check for power and ground and signal. I will have to find a wiring schematic.

Is the code triggering a CEL or is it just showing on the scanner?

Light comes on the dash. Some times it only comes on for a day or so then some times it stays for a few days.

SD would still be better IMHO. Your tuner should be able to hook you up so you can delete the MAF altogether with an SD tune. Fewer headaches in my limited experience.
