Default Lowest cost speedo recal?

Why GM couldn't stick with cheap plastic speedo gears in the 4L60E is beyond me, the gears still sell for $15 each. But I think it an extreme ripoff that the cheapest option is $193 from Hypertech.
It's just typing 3 little digits, replacing "3.23" with "4.10", takes all of 3 seconds.
Anyone know of an option closer to maybe $ 50 ?
Thanks in advance.

You probably could have picked up a used hypertech for almost nothing.
