Default LC1 E8 problems

Anyone else with an LC1 have problems with E8 message popping up? Ive been trying to get my tune dialed in with Wheatley but seems I spend more time restarting my damn truck because the windband crapped out. Just seeing if anyone on this forum had this problem and what remedy they used to fix it.

Yes. I just bought one of those to tune a customers boat, and it's the most temperamental I have ever seen... I'm VERY disappointed....

Yea it sucks. I never had a problem with it until recently. Its been getting worse and worse. Sometime I get like 5 min down the road and its already crapped out. My friend has had one for 3 years and never a stitch of problems. It seems that it conks out while under decel. I hope I can get this thing fixed easily.

With the LC1's, just about every error has do with ground, ground, ground.

The most popular place seems to be the rear screw on the drivers side head for consistent grounding. Mines been in for three+ years, and the one time it wigged was due to a bad plug wire. But when I set it up I went round and round with E8 untill I got the ground correct.
