Ok guys anybody got a picture or know where a picture is of where the Sensor is installed at??
I was thinkin about gutting my cats and just disableing my rear 02s and just stick the LC-1 Sensor in there....... just got one problem. That would only read that Bank of cyls. So now i got to find somewhere to put the sensor.
I will have the STS Turbo kit installed and want to know where to put the sensor..... after the stock Y-pipe so that it is reading all cyls??
Say if Dockrocker wants to borrow it i can plug the bung and if he has a cross over pipe or x-pipe then in the center place it there??
I got some more research to do, but no luck on finding pictures to help me understand it better.
Thanks guys!

Your engine should be running efficently and balanced...running a wideband in one side would be fine. You could swap between sides if you wanted, to verify. You could do it in the Y-pipe if you're gonna run one.

The cats will change the AFR reading. I'm not sure how much but, it does change it. You should put it before the cats. If you're going to gut them, then it shouldnt matter if you put it after. As stated above your engine should be balanced so either side should be fine. I however, installed a bung on the drivers side, pre cat, just for my LC-1. After popping my #7 cylinder and seeing it happen to others I figured the drivers side is the leaner of the 2 and thats where I want my readings coming from.

If you are going to have the STS, the sensor probably needs to be after the turbo. I have heard the sensors don't like the heat pre-cat/turbo. I haven't heard of anyone running the STS with their WB pre-turbo.

I asked on the Innovate forum and it was recommended to put the sensor after the STS turbo whether you have cats or not. This helps to reduce heat and turbulence in the exhaust. You can buy an extension cable to reach the cab if the supplied one is not long enough.
