I'm trying to do a scan cable tune update thru Blackbear. I have their tuned PCM in my truck currently. Now that I've added long tubes, I'm getting the tune updated. They sent me the EfiLive scan cable. I've hooked it thru laptop and OBD port. I can connect to the truck.

The issue is when it comes to validating the parameters. EfiLive goes thru the steps and shows the status bar as it is validating. The problem is that it only shows 59 parameters as valid. 75% of the parameters that Blackbear wants me to log as shown as not valid with a red "X" thru them.

Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas?

I've contact Blackbear also but figured someone on here might have some insight.

 

The cigarette lighter fuse was blown preventing proper connection with OBD port.
