Default Idle problems

Think I should have had my tuner set the idle higher than stock (650) for this cam. Will idle sometimes alright but falls off and stalls a lot. Another strange thing is temp, runs pretty much under 180 but occasionally will jump to 198 or so and the idle problem reappears but doesn't have to be hot to happen. Is this in the tune or maybe a IAC going bad? I'm running a 160 LS2 thermastat in the L92 waterpump.

I would guess something is not right in the tune. I have my idle speed set about 650 with a cam very similar to yours and mine idles like stock. When tuning idle when you have a cam their are other factors that go into getting it to idle correctly such as afr, timing, etc.......

Sounds like the idle airflow tables are off.

Guess that was what I was waiting to hear. Going to call Ed Wright Mon. Other than that it runs great, a little rich. Need to get a AFR gauge to tell.
Thanks for the input guys............
