iat vs ect sensor

just idling it was close to the temp on my mirror and after idling for a bit it was slowly climbing so I take it it will work but will let yall know after some in town driving.

I use the closed element sensor (same as ECT) in my Vette and turbo truck as my IAT sensor. I tested the ECT sensor against the open element style and the f-body sensor with only a 1/2 degree or so difference between the 3. It should work out well for you.
