Default I need a VIN #

I did a 5.3 to 6.0 swap on my truck,I work for a stealership and my brain is about to explode. I can't seem to get the tuning right for my pcm. I know the best way is for a custom aftermarket tune, but for now I'm trying to get by using what we have at the shop.Does anyone familiar with tuning have a vin# I could trick my setup with?
it's a 99 ecsb,Z-71 6.0 is from a 03,it is a lq4
I rebuilt the 4l-60e,upgraded the guts it's now a 4l-65e
4.10 gear
Cable throttle body.

I've tried all kinds of different setups, each one has its flaws though.Right now I've got the stock 5.3 tune,it's falling on its face.Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Go dig through some of the big "GM part number" threads and alot of guys posted specific vin numbers...should be able to find a vin for a lq4 equipped truck/suv in there...But yeah a custom tuned pcm is where you will end up if you want the MOST out of your setup.........

Try and go out on your lot and find a 3/4 ton truck from 99-00. the GM tunes changed after that. Then just setup TIS with that vin number and try that.

Preciate it guys, yeah I've searched the lot for vin #'s, i've used ebay for vin #'s then use gm vis to check rpo's,I've had some luck but nothing 100%. I get good power but the shifts are too soft or the speedo is way off.I know the custom tune is the way to go,I'm just cheap especially when I get sooo close for free with gm's database and tis. So which tune do ya'll recommend. I used to be on fullsize chevy alot (5yrs ago) and back then westers tune was the way to go,Is that still a good choice?thanks in advance, looks like I will be buying this within the next week, any advise greatly appreciated.
