HPT.... MAP giving different values
#1
I was out driving around today getting some data on WOT run so i can start to turn up the boost. In the charts display i was logging the MAP sensor and the PID Manifold Pressure 2bar. but they where giving me different values??
Ill attach the config and the two runs..
first run was with my cutout open
one sensor was reading 133 kpa while the other 160kpa
in my histograms it was going off the 133 kpa (that's only 4.5 lbs) but my boost gauge was reading 7-8lbs.
second run cutout was closed
so i guess my question is, which one is right and why are they reading different.

You might need to scale the sensor. To do this, place a stock 1 bar sensor in the truck with the stock tune. Note what the MAP sensor is reading at key on engine off. Install your 2 bar MAP sensor, and adjust C6301 with key on engine off until it reads what the 1 bar sensor was reading.
Are they both 2 bar map senors? I cant read the files as I use EFI Live. Are you doing testing with either opened or closed? Either leave it opened or leave it closed. Opening it will increase your boost. (Im sure you knew that though)

thanks, in the charts display i got rid of the the lower reading map sensor, and on the primary table i only have the MAP sensor labeled 2bar inserted
so im guessing what sensors you have in the primary table is what you charts, histograms and gauges are based off of?
