The 2 bar is not for bypassing the MAF sensor, that is what the enhanced 1 bar is for. Also, plenty of peopl etune with the regular HP tuners w/o the 2 bar upgrade. It is pretty new, and people have been tuning FI with HPT before that. I would say you do not need it.

Yes.

EFIlive is $699 with everything including 1 and 2bar.

The ability to write a custom O/S is $150 more.

You will be happy with either one, but I see efilive as being a better deal in the long run.
