How are you guys passing an inpection?

I am running a COS with my rear O2's disabled, and I haven't been able to pass an inspection. I even put in converters so I wouldn't run into this problem.

The part that really pisses me off is that my tuner started tuning in August, so it hasn't been able to pass since. My inspection ran out in October, and I park it for the winter anyways. Well he had all winter to mess with it, and next thing you know, spring was here. My reg ran out in March, and wonderful New York State won't let you register a vehicle unless it is inspected, and it won't pass. Is there a way around this?

Do they just plug into the ODB port?

Yes, they just plug in. There are no codes, but nothing is resetting. I am getting a catalyst monitor, evap system monitor, oxygen sensor monitor, and oxygen sensor heater monitor. They will allow one to fail, but not four.

I understand your issue then. I am not sure why it wasn't set as passed test by your tuner

It's definitely a tuning issue.

Everything my tuner has done has me scratching my head from the beginning. Part of me wants to still give him a chance, but at this rate it won't be done for a couple more months. I would think a tuner could get something tuned in a couple of months without a problem. I wish there was someone in my area that could tune it. I might hit up Wheatley for a tune, but part of me wants to give him the chance to finish it. It is just frustrating.

Here is how easy it is.

No idea. I've never had an issue. Well other than the obvious fact that you can smell and hear that I don't have cats.

not reported causes you to fail
