i've heard guys do that, but from my experience, at least in the newer guage clusters they are sealed and only have one plug going to them, but you might be able to take it apart from the back side and just take the bulb out. Just my .02 It's easy to take out the cluster too, just take out the front part of the dash, it just clips in, and then drop your shifter into 1st if you have an auto and the cluster is held in with 4 bolts, and then just unplugs. Hope that helps.

hmmm, don't really know how to do that, i know if it's a change enigine oil or something like that, it's turn the key to the "run" position, engine off, and depress the gas pedal 3 or 5 times within 5 seconds slowly and then ignition off. Try that, but like i said that's for engine oil on a trailblazer, but it might work. The only way that i know for sure is to clear the code with a scan tool, Tech II, if you have a friend with HPtuners or EFI Live or someone at a dealership.

you might be able to go to your local parts house and see if they could check/clear your code!!!

if you go to autozone, you can rent one, they'll charge you on a credit card or something, but when you return it they refund you right away, so it's free.
