How much torque management?

would you remove the same amount for a 2500 as you would in a 1500?

I would remove more because you probably have the stronger 4l80e tranny and other stronger parts, which means you can run it harder.

Exactly! As tough as the 4L80E is I wouldnt hesitate a bit removing all of the torque management.

Most guys here run the 80e here for high horsepower apps with no TM. Some run them stock and some have slightly modded 80e but either way with your basically stock truck you would have nothing to worry about, I am sure of it.... probably.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Thanks guys for your replies. It seems as if everyone that replied has the same idea. The truck will be getting tuned today at 2ish and I will be removing all of the TM along with getting an upgraded servo. I will let you guys know how I made out and what I think. Just out of curiosity when do the servo problems start showing up?? Heads?? cam??? ...I have an ECSB 1500 with an 4l60e...someone said the cars have been doing it for years....but...they are much lighter...

LOL Im worried about the rear blowing out. Maybe I'll get the ballz and try it.

As for the tune, very nice. She shifts firm and quick under normal and WOT driving. Not to hard but firm. Thanks again for all the repies!!!!

Be prepared to have your transmission serviced, because something in it will break. Not immediately, but give it time. It will burn up a band, pop the sprag, crack the shell, etc. When you do, talk to FLT
