I am going to this local guy this weekend to get a tune done in person. He uses hp tuner software, checks afr and the timing. I asked him how much I can get out of the stock engine. He said you might see 8 to 10 hp and the gas mileage wont change much. I am mainly doing this to see some more pep and mileage. What are you guys getting for mileage and is the horsepower after getting a tune done noticeable?

I think he gave you a realistic if not slightly conservative answer. You will notice the difference, for sure.

yeah, numbers sound pretty realistic, don't concentrate on that though. if done right, driveability and SOTP feel will be MUCH better.

It would be great if I feel a SOTP difference. I thought my mpg would go up too, since he is checking the afr and the timing. Am I right or wrong on that?
