A friend of mine who is a very good tuner with EFI Live has been tuning my 08Sierra Denali for the last couple of days. We've started with the TCM and he's got the shift times pretty much perfect and the trans shifts nice and quick but not too harsh. However, we've not yet been able to figure out how to bump the shift points up. He's put in the shift point at 5900RPM but it still shifts at 5700. We obviously want to proceed with caution, since this is the first A6 he's tuned. Anybody out there know exactly what we have to do in EFI Live to change the shift points?

 

did you post this in efilives forum. I think theres tuning trouble in those trans. Or from what I saw somewhere.

 

I can do it with HP tuners with no problem.
There is a tab that is for shift vs rpm

 

Take your WOT MPH 1-2 up 3MPH,and watch what that does
