I guess reading plugs works for tuning, but the more data and protection the better. I would expect it to have this capability considering it has these tables......

If you don't need to pass OBDII emissions and have the $$, I don't see any reason not to go aftermarket.

Grant, if you go Holley you are a lucky man cause Brian wall and Ross built that system.
Ross and a couple other local guys started FJO and then eventually sold the system to Holley.
I have watched Brian Wall in his 67 BBC Twin turbo start the car with a very very base tune and within 10-15min we were making well well over a 1000rwhp.
If you are interested in the system talk to Brian Wall as he can probably get you a pretty decent deal on it.

Knock by cylinder, don't think so

Holley is pretty cool with all the things it's capable of. Switching mine from a single stage wet/progressive to a two stage dry progressive.

You would be amazed how fast you can tune a truck vs using EFI live or hp..
Tuning on the fly it badass.. I had mikes twin turbo truck tuned to 10psi in 20-30 minutes of using the software.. By the time you get driving, figure out what you need to change, pull over to the side of the road, make your changes hoping they are correct, flash the pcm, then wait, then get back on the road. You'd be lucky to get 3-4 actual changes in that amount of time.

Ya...my Roadrunner was great until it crapped out and Moates decided that they never should have worked anyway.

Gauges including speedo and fuel level
Neutral safety/selected gear range indicator
Backup lights

What else will I lose along with ditching the stock PCM?
