Default help truck got slower

05' silverado rcsb 4x4 5.3 ,cai,tb spacer , pacesetter lt's w/ y pipe single flowmaster 40 w dual side exit , and a Speed Inc tune , ran 14.50's with poor reaction times , installed a Yank 3000 stall and it ran awesome never got it down the track before stock trans went out , installed a FLT Level 3 4l60e trans w/ retune and shift point adjustment , it would only go 15.20's at 88 mph , please help , what are we missing , tune and or shift points ??? It ran really strong out of the hole on the yank converter and stock trans

Your tb spacer is probably too short. J/K, it is probably the tune and/or shift points. Also, a performance tranny will eat up a bit more power. Did you get that thing tuned on a dyno? That will maximize your engine output. I was able to gain 40hp by seeing what was happening on the dyno as we tuned.

the the yank is still in , heres the best run with current set up , the 14.5's was last fall . rt-.584 60'-2.252 , 330-6.325 , 1/8-9.789 , mph-71.13 , 1000'-122.774 , 1/4-15.294 @ 89.45 ,working on getting the tune to post . I'll be in Germany back on 4/30 hoping to get some solid suggestions so I can get this right when I get back

Did you stall it up at the line or go off idle.

What was the temp on both days? My truck will run low/mid 13s in the winter with 30* and the best I could manage last month in 75* was a 14.0. Weather plays a pretty big role in performance on a NA truck.
And reaction times don't go into the final time. Unless you bracket racing or something
