I have been having tranny problems lately so I hooked up one of my buddy's GM Tech 2 to it. The cord was a little screwed up on it and it kept cutting out and turning back on. I didnt think anything of it..so i just kept going and i was reading what it was doing... but then all of a sudden all the lights on the dash came on(air bag, ABS, seat belt), the message center was flashing battery, security, and service 4wd. Also the gas gauge doesn't work now and neither does the 4wd. I checked fuses and nothing was blown. Any ideas???

Had a similar incident occur to me a few years ago on my '03. Fried the pcm it did. You can try to re-flash.

 

Thats what goes on when I write tunes to my PCM with HPT. I'm with trever, think you had a short in the tech 2 and it corrupted some of your pcm data. Try and re-flash it.

 

i thought i fried my pcm too....but i put another one in that I had and it does the same thing!!
