did the 2006-6.0-03-4.8,had a mail order tune ...had a ground not on body so then started...did security relearn...and now mostly just runs rich likes its severly out of time ...back fires through intake ...ran great twice after unplugging my battery 100 times to relearn...been dealing with this two days any ideas???soooo rich ...wont go over2500 rpm caughs ...has mild cam 217-219-7% advance at 114 533/533...new 2600 stall ..LTs yada yada...may try the stock ECM next...but will probably have to do the security re-learn again ...hmm this ones fustrating...also CE light came on cant make it up the street to find out what that is ...probably a knock sensor from this morning ...

 

Has the mail order tune been retuned for the cam and new engine? Sounds like it is limp mode to me.

 

yea thats why i got the tune...I appreciate the comment I got it figured out now ...Put Stock ECM in works great now just doesnt idle good with cam ...thanks again...I will got the stock ecm re-tuned...

I really dont want to blame the mail order tune...iam not sure there is more probably to it ...and I dont have the time to work it out through the mail... I whent to get the stock ecm and it runs great when he got the idle set but that was all it would let him do...he couldnt download the HP tune ...it kept failing so and we had to continue disconnecting the battery to start it so I dont know whats going ...first run withoute tune it made 326 at the rear wheel ...he said air flow was at 17+ needs to be at 13 ...he said he get close to a hundred out of it if it would read...also was taking forever to download anything at first...who knows I know those LS based CM are very ground sensitive...but it runs great now just not near potential and he said it real lean...DC was over 80% with no tune ...so ill check it out at least its very drivable now
