need some wiring diagrams and/or help. I have a 1999 rcsb silverado that came with power windows, locks, and mirrors. I have sourced door panels, and power heated and cooled seats out of a 2003 yukon denali. I woud like to retain power mirrors, locks, seats, heated and cooling feature. the switches in the new door panels are the 03-06 style and are more appealing. has anyone done something similar? or even wiring diagrams and i will build my own harnesses and repin as needed.

Thats goin to be a real chore, 99-02 the seats are simple circuits, with exception of the memory feature..as it has its own module in the driver seat everything runs through.... The 03-up everything runs through the bcm and door modules.... And they are on the data bus...

I don't care about memory. I just want the seats to be power and heat and cool. I imagine there a fail safes inside. But there should be a way to bypass the bcm and trick the circuit board.

Everything runs through the door modules, which wont work unless programmed to the vehicle... Cant get diagrams to print, but if they dont see serial data they wont even activate to wake up to work...
I can try pulling diagrams again when i get home this evening

Ok so I'll use the door panels with the old switches. I'd like to figure out which wire does what to the seats so I can hard wire them in myself. Heat and cooling feature would be cool, but at this point the forward and reverse along with lumbar is all I care about

I am trying to do the same myself...Seeing how we appear to be the only two people on the internet that want to do this..maybe we can work together on getting things to work.
At this point I kinda wanna pull an SLT BCM and full interior wire harness. Hack it up and use only the parts I need. See if it works without having the ECU in place.
Doing orange and black on the seats gets you power..which is great and all but without the heat it's such a waste. Going from my 2011 LTZ to my 01 SL truck is such a chore. I drove it yesterday for the first time in a year and it just felt old...horrible tbh.
I WILLLLLLL figure this crap out. It's made by GM so it can't be that hard. Also don't simply hook up the orange and black and say it's "good enough" because I did that and here we are a year or two later and I still am not happy.
