Default Headlight wiring for Fogs?

I want to add fogs to my truck and I would like to use the spare wiring connection thats left over from hooking up HID's. When I hooked up my HID's with a relay kit it had me hook it up with one side. So the other side is left untouched, I could wire it to that connection, then my fogs will turn on when my lows turn on at night. Is that possible? If so what size wire should I get and how many/ size relays will be good to have? Thanks.

i added them to my truck but ran a switch up to the cab as its illegal to have them on in some states, i had them hooked up to my lows but found out there illegal some places so i put a toggle switch in the cab. as far as wiring i just used some extra wire i had laying around i think it was 16 or 14 gauge, an i didnt use any relays as i dnt use them that much

I used the factory location in the fuse box for the relay and fuse, ran a jumper to the low beam relay, the fan wires for fogs from bottom of fuse box.

@ 03silverado- I don't want to hook up a switch.

@ Tx- What do you mean by "the fan wires for fogs from the bottom of fuse box?

I thought I could be possible by just buying he relay kit off eBay and just hooking it straight up to the hid kit and using the second headlight plug for plug.

TX I guess we are basically doing the same thing now that I'm thinking of it just ur using the fuse block and I'm bypassing it and going straight to the source of power without te second fuse/ relay.

Thats kinda what I was going to do, but I'm gonna use the spare headlight wire to trigger the fogs. I would like to get another valence cuz the original has been damaged since I bought the truck in 05.

Thats cool, I will run 6K all the way around, now I need to buy a hid kit for the highs. Did the high 4 mod and will be running the fogs.Post a pick to see how it looks.
