The little info I know about this... 03-07 DBW PCM does not have a controller for a IAC, so you have to use a 99-02 PCM and repin everything to make it work. But like Dan said, Allen has done it a few time's so you should talk to him.

I wanted to keep my DBW, but I have had problems since the 87/90mm conversion. I am actually leaning towards a bad X-link now. I have horrible luck, and if there was 1 bad one out of 10,000 I guarantee I would be the one to get it. My codes have gotten worse with time, and all my wires looked and tested to be OK. I had my truck at my fathers shop about 20 miles away from my house, and it started going into REP as soon as I turned the key. He let me borrow a truck, and I am very thankful for that. I was just mad that I had to use one of his trucks to drive home when I should have just worked on it in my garage. Well today when I was at work I remembered that I still had my 78mm DBW T-body kicking around at my house. I decided to plug it in to the 8 pin plug, and see if I get codes. Well I didn't get any codes. I swapped both my 87, and 90mm T-bodies on, and got the same codes again. I was bound and determined to drive my truck home because I hate the feeling of having to borrow something from my parents at my age. Well what does someone do when they have a working 78mm 3 bolt flange T-body, and a 4 bolt flange to mount it on? You guessed it, look for duck tape!! Well it idled a little high, but I never threw a code.

Couple of questions.

Did you update the tune for the bigger TB?

When did the problem start?

Have you tried replacing the PCM?

I have had this TB for years, and gives same symptoms when I try a different one.

Problem started during burnout of my 10th pass at a track day. Was intermittent at first...then 100% FUCKED

I am looking for a spare PCM and also a local solution to get my tune into it (dont have tuning software or a bench harness)

Not trying to jack this thread....but seems like we are fighting similar battles.
