Trailblazer converters are cheap man I paid less then 300.00 when I got mine brand new. As for headers do the obx's.

my shift points are set at 6700. completley stock bottom end with 38xxx miles on it. mods are in my sig. my cam pulls HARD all the way up too.

2.8 60' wow thats bad.I ran my truck friday night,16.30@88mph w/2.5 60' and except for the mph I was not very happy.2010rcsb 4wd 4.8 w/homemade cai-tune-flowmaster muffler and 3.42's but it did what I thought it would do.from a roll it's pretty fast but a dead stop it's a pig.lol

you should get rid of that flowmaster for something free-flowing or get a cutout imo. i hear bad things about crapmaster. i love my magnaflow fwiw

gears will wake it up alot, or at least it did in mine! my 60' was sacrificing alot due to the gears, next time i go to the track i plan on running it one some stock 17's should run pretty good with the 4.10s

was your 2.8 60' with or without the 4.10's?

I called Texas speed and they told me they can't even build a cam to improve the bottom end power.

I'm doing a 2.2 on street tires and peg leg in an ext cab, I think you guys can bring down that 60' some. Your 4.8 cant be that weak, I am only running an intake, full exhaust, and tune, stock trans/converter, and 3.42 gears. A 212/218 and a converter should bring in some low end power, but I would be looking into some tune adjustments as well.
