Default Gauge cluster swap

I have 06 silverado 1500 and it has the gauge cluster without the trans temp gauge, does the gauge cluster with the trans gauge hook right up or is there some things that need changed?

Don't you need to have the mileage re-programmed too. Pretty sure the mileage is stored in the cluster.

Yep...just have the mileage reset, swap it out and go. I put a Escalade 140mph cluster in my 2004 GMC and the trans gauge works just fine.
