I concur on your statements guys. Just another handheld I thought Id post about. This will be a great too for the right person.
Fuego means fire in spanish.
Granatelli has no more affiliation with Diablo now. I talked with JR Granatelli about that when he was in town for a vendor meeting. Thus why they came out with a new handheld.

I will be watching this one closely. I have been real close to trying the Crane/Vinci handheld, but this has more features than any hand held yet. I don't have a laptop computer, or I would get EFI live or HPT. This type of product is exactly what I am interested in.

you can still get hp out of a handheld. in my experience with my handheld is i have gone beyond what it has the capabilities to do. I need more and i have tapped it out. so imo there's nothing wrong with using a handheld. will you leave some hp on the table. yeah! will your truck end up running better with a custom tune. yeah! but for someone who doesn't plan on getting all inclusive with their truck, a handheld isn't a bad way to go.
and yes, the resemblence to the diablo predator is astounding.

I may be very interested in this handheld. I mean trust me, I am a huge fan of custom tunes, but as GoShawk said, if your not going all out modding, a handheld may don just fine for what you are needing.
I had a custom tune on my Crew Cab, but it was necessary for the mods I had done. The Z71 will not have anywhere near the mods done to it, and I would like to stick with regular unleaded pump gas, and not have to pay for premium, but still get a little better performance. My only question is turning off the torque management with this unit. I will want to remove a portion of it, but not all. I wonder if it is all in the handheld or if turning off the TQM requires a custom program to be sent to the handheld via internet.
I would definitely like to see more info on this one. On the other hand, if its too much money, it might just be better to get a custom tune.
