Default Fan Settings

Hey Fellas I live in Texas and did a 160 T-stat swap. I set my fans like I did on the Z28 and the fans ran all the time. The weather is cool this time of year so I did some logging and found out that with the 160 T-stat I run between 180 and 191 so I set my fans like so..... fan 1 on at 191 off at 188.....Fan 2 on at 192 on off at 188. With the cooler weather it turns on when I just did a stop and start it up within the next five or ten minutes because heat has built up in the moror because I just turned it off and the heat builds up in the motor once I turn it off. Let me know what your fan settings are and what part of the country you live in.

I have a 160 stat and my fans are set to come on at 180* and off at 173* (PCM tuned by PCMforLess). I live in Northern New Jersey...summers are humid and sometimes over 100* (worst days), and winters are usually cold, snowy and crappy (although this year has been freaky...we just started seeing the 30's this week...seems like the seasons are shifting )
