I thought Paul stated the lbz would never be supported? Has that changed since hpt is going after that market? This way back in the early part of the year.
Thanks
Thanks

2 Bar Custom Operating Systems for E40 applications are currently in Beta test. It is
expected that this functionality will be released within weeks of the initial release.
Support for other Gen IV engines and transmissions, including LS7, E38, E67 and T43Support for other Gen IV engines and transmissions, including LS7, E38, E67 and T43
are currently in development and will be available in future EFILive software releases.
Other engines within the Gen IV family will be added over time.
LBZ Scanning and Tuning:
LBZ scanning support is scheduled as the first update to FlashScan V2.
LBZ Tuning will follow shortly after.
Standalone black box logging to SD memory card.
Standalone reading and flashing of ECM’s.
Standalone scanning/logging of data to LCD screen.
Storage of tunes to SD memory card.
Audible alarms when PIDs go out of user-defined ranges.
Power off button and/or timer based sleep mode.
Data input/output from/to the RS232 serial input. I.e. to support dyno controllers and
WBO2 serial interfaces.
ALDL protocol support for scanning and logging OBD-I based GM vehicles
Looks like it will be happening here really soon.

EFILive has always stated that they don't want to tell people how to tune. There stand is they provide the tools, but its up to the end users to figure out the best tuning methods and theory's. I think from what I've read, most all the diesel guys ether run complete stock transes, or go aftermarket and don't get much into tuning them. They seem to "learn" fairly well. I think your not getting your answers, cus.... No body knows...
. You could be the Allison pioneer
. Just start messing with it a little at a time. I know you like to have a good understanding of stuff before you go after it, but I think you just might have to ventchuer into this one on your own

. I think you are right though, I am going to have to start experimenting i suppose, just thought i would ask before i break something. Believe me, i have never been shy about asking questions...worst that can happen is i get ignored, and i can deal with that...

If you get stuck with something, or really want to know how one table affects some thing, Send Ross a PM direct, and tell him nobody seem to know the answer to you question, and I'm sure he will help you with a good description. He doesn't get to the boards much, but I think he know the "hows" the the PCM better then anyone.
