Default EFI live VS. HP TUNERS???

which is the way to go when using a pretty much stock truck. I am looking for the overall most user friendly, and price effective program to go with. thanks. i am new to all of this, and just want the best advice. I have done some reading on both, just not sure what to go with.

They're both good. Download the trial versions and see which one you like better. IMO I'd just get the cheaper one.

Covered and reviewed 1000 to the power of 50 times.
Both will require a lot of reading.

Do you prefer Coke or Pepsi? Both pretty similar from what I hear...no regrets with HPTuners on this end...

I have HPT and love it. It just takes time to get to know how to use everything

One thing to consider is if you might want to tune a Ford or possibly a Dodge in the future also. If all you are worried about is GM it doesn't really matter they will both do the job. Personally I like the HPT interface better.

A couple of things I considered when shopping for tuning software were:

1. HPTunners Forum has alot more volume then EFILive
2. EFILive was cheaper if you got the V1
3. EFILive had better Efan suport than HpTuners (kinda gay reason, but well worth it)
