Default EFI live and HPtuner

Hi i was wondering which tuner efi live or hptuner is better which one has a better interface and easier to use and learn. also do they come with preset tunes? thanks

I personaly like EFI Live better, but ive never messed with HP Tuners all that much..
No preset tunes.. kinda pointless since its all Custom Tuning.

No. That would make them responsible for any damage. Besides, even if they were just starter tunes, there would have to be millions of them.

I perfer EFI Live cause thats what i started learning on.. Others will say the same thing about HPTuners.

Look man, I'm trying hard not to be a dick about this, but you are going to get much more out of this website if you take the couple seconds to search. This topic has been covered tons upon tons of times. There is no definite best software. They are both great software programs. If one was better than the other, would they have cornered the market considering they are very close in price?

Know that the learning curve is steep. Don't expect to press a few buttons and voila, your truck is tuned. It takes hundreds(quite literally) of reading and hundreds of hours of logging and tuning to become a good tuner.

You can only be as good of a tuner as the amount of time you're willing to spend reading.

yeah thats true. yes i Know efilive has some very good tutorials, im sure hp has the same its all about which you start on. Theres a few other debates in it.
