Default Edelbrock 90mm Throttle Body sticking only when hot.

I have a Edelbrock 90mm throttle body on my cast iron 6.2 with TBSS intake

When cold - the blade moves freely and hits the stop screw with no hint of getting hung up.

When the engine is warm however, it typically sticks partially open (2-5% open)

If I blip the pedal it ussually goes closed the rest of the way.

Anyone had a problem like this?
I am trying to figure out what to do about it - The cable is free.
I am considering taking it off and cleaning up the edges of the blade or maybe the opening.

Also it just occured to me I should look to see if there is part of the intake manifold growing when warm and causing an obstruction.

What do you guys think?

You could try loosening the screws that hold the blade in place, and reposition the blade and see if that helps.

1fastbrick - This definitely affects idle. holds it up around 1600 and IAC drops to zero until I blip the throttle.
Manufacturer might be a good place to start - the best place maybe.

Jake - So do you mean moving the blade on the shaft to see if its the blade sticking or the shaft?
Not a bad idea.

With as many as they produce, I could see that there may be a few that could be off a little. It shouldnt take more than 10 mins to find out. If you have a chance afterwards, and dont mind, please let us know if this fixes your issue.

I took the throttle body off tonight.
Could see shiny metal on the bottom side of the blade, not shiny on top. Clearly wasn't centered.
Also one of the screws was a tad loose.
I centered the throttle body and made sure I tightened the screws but haven't had a chance to take it for a good long drive yet.

That fixed it.
Should have taken it apart rather than post first.

Thanks for the help.
