Default Ect?

Engine Coolant Temp not reading on cluster (buddy's truck).

He replaced the temp sensor, we swapped cluster's and his works on mine, and I hooked up my ScanGuage and saw the coolant temp in the ECM. I am at wits end on this. Anyone run into anything similar to this?

So your scan gauge read the coolant temp from the obdii port?

Yes, only other thing I can think of is that the wire going to the cluster isn't making continuity for some reason.
