ECM setup for flex fuel

The first thing you need to do is make sure that your VE and MAF tables are accurate for gasoline.
Then just change stoich b3601 to 10, 9.76, whatever. Stoich will vary on ethanol percentage. That will get you in the ballpark. Also know that ethanol likes to be run richer than gasoline at WOT.

OK well the mixture came out to about %81 ethanol. But I have a problem. With Stoich set to 10.4 the fuel trims are dead on. I opened injector pulse by 4% also. Power is definitely there, but my EGT's are HOT. Cruising at 60-65 they're running 1300 and wot it has hit 1550 but I have quit there in fear of it climbing much higher. Normal gas tune runs about 1150-1200 cruising and only see 1500 towing heavy loads. What is causing the heat?? I was under the impression ethanol burnt colder. Thanks guys

Are you turbo'd or still n/a?
Also, get a wideband. With narrowbands you have absolutely no idea what your AFR is at WOT. Just changing stoich isn't adequate, ethanol likes to be significantly richer at WOT than gas (i.e. .78 lambda vs .85 lambda)

The truck is back to n/a. Has been for quite a while. I should've updated my SIG, sorry. Anyway the local Dyno has a "tailpipe" wideband that's reading 10.8 cruising, but how accurate are these things that far back in the exhaust?
