You're running it lean as hell. I wouldn't advise it any further without adjusting the tune for the e85.

Stoic is set at 13.6 so its not as lean as it would be at stock 14.7. And how would I tell if its lean without pull in plugs? Egt's are a lot cooler and not upping in coolant temps.

Seems you were right. LTFT's are super high. I'll make adjustments tomorrow. I remember reading that running e85 lean isn't AS harmful as running gas lean. Any truth to that?

To do it right, you basically need to run 2 seperate tune files. Flash the tune for the fuel you are going to run. Anything else you are trying, is risky business.

FWIW, even the early E85 systems from GM were somewhat sketchy. The fuel composition sensors were VERY expensive, and had a high failure rate. GM quit using them, and now the PCM has a very intricate "strategy" that calculates ethanol content. It doesn't always work well either...

Well I hope I've not damaged anything. I'll load a tune on tomorrow for 20% more pulse width and do some logging. What else?

You want to add air to the VE/MAF, not adjust pulse width.

I'm learning slowly. But can you tell me why? And why not pulse width? Thanks

Pulse width values are a characteristic of the injector itself. If you need to add more fuel, do it through the fueling tables instead of "raping" the injector data.

The first thing you need to do is make sure that your VE and MAF tables are accurate for gasoline.

Then just change stoich b3601 to 10, 9.76, whatever. Stoich will vary on ethanol percentage. That will get you in the ballpark. Also know that ethanol likes to be run richer than gasoline at WOT.

Thanks so much. I've only pulled one WOT run and its definitely noticeable that its lean there
