has anyone had this problem? truck is a 2002 2500HD with the 6.0L. it seems like the low fuel light comes on then the engine dies like it is out of fuel, and the first time it happened i put gas in it and the fuel pump wouldnt kick on. after looking in the fuse block, found the ECM B fuse popped. this has happened twice, if anyone knows of a fix or a TSB/recall i would like to know.
thanks.
thanks.

I have seen a bunch of trucks pop this fuse and everyone of them has been the fuel pump module. the wires from the connector to the pump actually rub through and short out. I will bet money that if you pull your pump that is what you will find!!!!!!

I am not actually sure what wires rub and touch, but that is almost a sure bet that it is the pump module... If you can get one from parts direct, see how much it will be. Or if you give me your vin, I will see how cheap I can get it through work and ship it to you if you want...

unfortunately yes, I am not sure but I guess you could fix the wires, but then you would wonder what melted them together in the first place. you may fix them and later on it might do it again. once a pump has been installed I havent had one come back for the same problem...
