Default EBCM is bad! Replace or send it out for repair?

On my 02 Silvy, the EBCM has been out of commission for several months now, but im getting tired of looking at the lights in the dash, so i wanna fix it, but should buy a GM one or send it out for repair? The guy i know at GM want around $600 for a new one, but i'd rather send it out for repair and save money, but not sure on the quality and reliability are on these rebuild places like module masters and so on.
So, if anyone can help me out on where to send and their warranty, quality and reliability let me know, cause winter in the Oh state will be here before i know it.

I know you can get them repaired but I got the entire ABS assembly for 100 bucks from the salvage yard. I only used the EBCM off it and kept the rest for a rainy day but its been working great going on 3 years.

Thanks for the feedback man! I'll look into it.

I have had them rebuilt. They come with a better warranty than a new one from the dealership. I've also recommended it to friends with the same problem and they had good luck as well. Here's the place
ModuleMaster rebuilds ABS modules for as low as $100, 2 day average turn-around, 5 Year Guarantee
The service was excellent.
