Cool

I think I read a post by BlownChevy or Crashdummy that said they made the most power at 12.1:1. My tune runs 11.7:1 to 12.1:1 at WOT. That is based on a GM Enhanced parameter for A/F Ratio based on the trucks stock O2 sensors.

That would be your commanded AFR, not your actual... Ideally it is right on target, but impossible to know without a wideband.

2004Denali: How much boost are you getting away with on your radix right now?

I've heard of AWD trucks removing the front driveshaft or something like that to use a regular dyno. Not sure if that would mess up the tuning because driving 2 tires instead of 4 would be less load for the engine so it may throw off the AFR. BlownChevy told me 12.2:1 was the radix's sweet spot. It would be difficult in my opinion to get 12.2:1 and keep it there all the time at WOT. (does that make sense?) I personally will be looking for a 11.5 to 11.8. I don't have the time or energy right now to be replacing broke ringlands again. Between $400-$600 is an average price but $600 is on the high side. Maybe if he offers free updates or something.

Thanks for the info on that it sure makes sense. I was wondering how they got the A/F Ratio from the O2 sensors. Answer they don't they just report the commanded A/F Ratio. That is why it is so steady while the O2 readings fluctuate quite a bit.

Thanks for sorting that misconception out for me.

Learning all the time.
