Default DRLs not coming on

a while ago my DRLs would just not come on and i tried everything. i figured the dash sensor could have just gone bad, so i pulled it and spliced the wires together, but still nothing. fuses, relays, bulbs are all fine. what the hell is going on with them? when i start my truck the low beam headlights come on no matter what i do. but the dome override button will still turn all lights off.. has anyone else had this problem?

it sounds like the light sensor is bad and the truck thinks its dark out all the time thats why the head lights come on

Did you actually try replacing the relay? Or just listened to it?

that doesnt always work conecting the wires together sometimes that sends the wrong signal to the computer causing an incorrect test th4 best way is to look at the values thru a scanner
